Is my equipment compatible?
Mini SubHarmonics works with any audio system that has line-level (RCA) connections, like mixers,
DACs, audio interfaces, or preamps.
It does not connect directly to speaker outputs or headphone jacks.
Your amp and speakers must be able to handle sub-bass between 5 Hz and 40 Hz.
Most home cinema subs and full-range systems will work just fine — but check your gear's specs to be sure.

These models perform well below 20 Hz and are great for demoing subharmonics:
Sony MDR-7506

Use with a good source (DAC or interface) for best low-end results.

Low frequency test video
This video plays 10 seconds per frequency, starting from 100 Hz all the way down to 20 Hz:
100 Hz → 50 Hz → 45 Hz → 40 Hz → 35 Hz → 30 Hz → 25 Hz → 20 Hz
Use a subwoofer or quality headphones for best results,
many systems won’t reproduce anything below 40 Hz without help.

The man behind the Mini SubHarmonics hardware
My name is Hans Scholtze.
I love technology and sound. And I love building things that truly add something.
Not mass products, but hardware I’d want to use myself.
The Mini SubHarmonics is one of those things.
